Santa Clara County Council celebrates another Eagle Scout!

The Santa Clara County Council is excited to share that we have 168 Eagle Scouts for 2009 and still growing! Becoming an Eagle Scout is Scouting's highest achievement' something that so many Scouts strive to reach and only about 5% of all Boy Scouts do so. The hard work and dedication toward reaching the achievement begins with earning at least 21 merit badges in different specialty areas, exposing them to a wide range of new experiences. The occasion was our annual reception for those who donate at least $1000 to the council and for those who've helped build our endowment, by a similar or larger gift. Great food, fellowship, and a chance to meet the Chief Scout… Continue
