Over 7,000 Eagle Scouts reside here in the Silicon Valley and we will have a breakfast reunion in June 2010 for them to celebrate the 100th Anniversary as well as re-connect with Scouting. As a result, we hope to re-engage many Eagle Scouts into leadership roles within our units, districts, and our council. Please join us at the 2010 Council Recognition Dinner where we will honor the 2009 Eagle Scout's as well as out 2009 Silver Beaver Recipients. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Greg Chamitoff, is a NASA astronaut who recently returned from his flight in space, and is also an Eagle Scout from the Santa Clara County Council.This will be a great night to celebrate and acknowledge all volunteers for their help and support in the Scouting program.
