Have we seen any kind of schedule for Push Cart Races released yet?

Yes, there will be a Push Cart Derby again at SOR

Rules and instructions of Push Cart Derby will be presented to units at SOR Kick-off, Feb 26.

Geocaching and Are You Smarter Than A Webelos programs will also be special activities at SOR. Details will be presented at SOR Kick-off.

The rules was going to be my follow up question.  My Webelos Den is hot to trot on making our Pack's Cub-Mobile.

Pack 509 might be interested in Cub-Mobile racing.  What were the rules last year?

Bearpaw outing is on Feb 26 2011. That week end.  May want to change to other week end, since some of us will be @ Bearpaw. -D

Feb ... thats much better.  I was afraid it was going to be on Jan 29th and might conflict with our pinewood derby.  Thanks for the speedy reply.  We are looking forward to a great Scout-O- Rama.

The date should be Saturday, February 26 2011, not January. Thanks for catching that error, Rob! A correction will be on the next newsletter.

 

I think we may follow the council theme of 2011: A Scout is Brave.

Thanks Rob for pointing the date conflict out - we'll iron that out and let you know.  And while we have been brainstorming many other SOR aspects, I don't believe we've nailed down a SOR theme yet.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.  Kevin

In the December news letter, the kick off date was listed at Saturday Jan 26th, which is a Wednesday.  Is the kick off on the 26th or the 29th?
