Hello Pioneer District!

I am the new Cub Scout Roundtable Commisioner.  I am taking over a great program from Bill who will be remaining on staff, and look forward to sharing my passion for Scouting with you all.  This month we will be discussing all things Pinewood Derby from crafts, to decorations, to awards, to race operations and we will debut a new feature, our ceremony of the month.  So come on out December 14th and get some ideas that might just make this years Pinewood Derby the best derby yet.

Hello all, I am the new Pioneer District Cub Scout Roundtable Commissioner. My first meeting is in September.

It is a new Cub Scout Program Year and an entirely new Cub Scout Program! This is a perfect time for the Pioneer Roundtable to begin its march towards Roundtable 2.0! Fueled by the new BSA program and feedback from our Pioneer District unit leaders, we will be evolving the Pioneer Roundtable over the next few months.

The September Roundtable will include a recap of the new Cub Scout 2010 Program, game ideas for September and October, new songs, breakout sessions for Cubmasters & Committee Members, Webelos Leaders and Cub Leaders along with ideas for September/October trips, crafts and more!

Don't let the usual suspects have all of the fun. If you haven't been to the Pioneer Roundtable for a while (or not at all), come check us out this month. You don't know what you're missing!

New Leaders please note upcoming training Cub Scouts -Sept 25th, Oct 16th and Nov 13th.

Boy Scouts-Sept 11th and Nov 20th.

Go online to get your Youth Protection Training updated, it only takes 40 minutes (if that) and certifies you for two years. There are many useful online training modules- get certified in them all!

We really want to encourage each district to start posting information on their group page. Do you have information on upcoming unit meetings you want to share? Photos from a district event? Flyers or information you want to share at Roundtable? You can put all that information here. The more you post, the easier it will be to encourage other volunteers and Scouts to join ScoutNow and stay connected!
